| The Love-letters |
| Our visitors are most
pleased to write their Soekershof-experience in our visitor's book. We
call these notes the 'Soekershof love-letters'. Herewith a selection: We consider our visit to Soekershof as our most memorable in the Western Cape and really enjoyed every minute. Fraundorfer family J'burg. We really enjoyed our visit to Soekershof while staying at Fraai Utzicht in November. You gave up so much of your time to explain about your project there - we really did appreciate it. Thank you. We visited the township in Robertson and saw Joeys sculpture at the Community centre- it looked really good. I keep thinking of sculptures for my garden here in Yorkshire but maybe a acacia tree doesn't look so good here! I will keep thinking!!!! Wishing you a Merry Christmas from cold damp North Yorkshire UK!!!! Best Wishes. Douglas and Carol McKerracher. ...Believe me, it is pure magic that awaits you. Through the finger-maze, the ghost of Malherbe, past the guardian angel ... amazed by the beauty and completely absorbed into the legendary world of Klaas Voogds... Johanetta du Plessis, Malmesbury (SA). The most interesting botanical tour I have ever made. I was mostly impressed to observe the lore and the passion of Herman & Yvonne growing all over this garden. Daniel Lebel, (botanist) from New Brunswick in Canada Gardens have always been important for our souls because they show us how short our lives are!. Thank you!!! Dieter & Jurgen, Zurich (SW) The history of the entire world comes alive with the sparkling stories. Elke & Dieter & Lisa Losskarn, Houtbay (SA) This is a little acre of heaven, beautiful and tranquil
but with a touch of the devil - Herman's maze! We so much enjoyed our
visit. Thank you both. We had fun!!! Jessa Preston and Linda Beatty, Baltimore (USA) A Scotsman (Jimmy) and an Irishman (Roy) one fine day stumbled accross this Paradise called Soekershof with an open mind and walked away with something they will always remember. Jimmy & Roy. Edinbury (Scotland) Net so fasinerend soos die wêreld onder die see,
is hierdie wêreld van kaktusse - laat my dink aan seekastaiings.
Ek sal graag weer in die labyrinths kom dwaal. Attitude is the paintbrush of the mind; it colours every situation. We have so enjoyed the situation here. A real place of peace and harmony. Thank you! Liz Webster, Cheryl Puchase en Sandy Eland, J’burg. Thanks for sharing Paradise with us. Yvet & Renee Swanepoel, Fish Hoek (SA) Pragtig. Baie waarhede van die lewe! Viljoens, Kempton Park (SA) What an amazing place!. It was a real privilege to share
such a garden, which is a real vision of the future. An extremely interesting experience! Herman's maze is
truly amazing. A thoroughly enjoyable visit. Wir ziehen unseren Hut vor der Arbeit, die hier geleischt
wurde. Es ist ein äußest interessante objekt und wit hatten
eine prima Führing. Vielen Dank. Soekershof is vol levensfilosofie.
A most enjoyable visit. Herman's maze is the place to
get lost and go round in circles and very amusing. We are hoping to come
here again. We will tell our friends about Soekershof Walkabout. It is
so interesting. Baie geniet en lekker gesoek. Dankie! Johan en Loumari Stemmet, Cape Town (SA) Vandaag het ek een stukkie Hemel geniet. Baie dankie. Hendrika Mouton, Mosselbay (SA) |
