An increasing number
of websites all over the world make a link to this site. Within 6 weeks
after this site was officially launched into Cyberspace, in December 2002,
the webmasters of about 10 other sites, more or less related to the subject,
mailed us that they made a link. It is impossible for us to keep track
with this traffic, even the major search engines are unable to do so adequately
or only after many weeks/months/years. The results from search engine
to search engine differ. In order to obtain some insight in our positions
on the World Wide Web one has to compare the various results and still
than …………… For us 'Soekershof in Cyberspace' is in the first place a service tool; providing additional information for people (tourists and other holiday makers but also more 'local' day-trippers) in South Africa who've heard of us, read about us or have seen our brochure. In the second place it is a long-term marketing tool. We do not expect that people from all over the world, after visiting this site, immediately book a flight to South Africa. But if we can achieve that a small percentage of the 'Soekershof in Cyberspace' visitors sooner or later, on their trip to this beautiful country, visit us, we're very much obliged to welcome them. And already it is nice to see overseas visitors with printouts of our homepage and the one with the road directions, entering our gate. It feels as if they just fulfilled a quest but than the real quest begins …….. |
