Day 1:

Real Bavarian Welcome at GuBas De Hoek with a nice fresh cocktail or a refreshing Bavarian beer (mind the 'after-shock').

Enjoy the venue and do what you feel like to do. Lay back in the hammock, relax in the garden or read a book on the terrace under the wine leaves.

Have a look in the kitchen  while Gunther, the German master head chef is preparing a Mediterranean dinner.

Sleep well in the lovers room in a 2 x 2,20 m bed with an attached bathroom.

Day 2:

After a long night real lovers start the day with a wonderful healthy full breakfast (but before that: jogging with Gunther is also an option for the early birds) and than: Soekershof Walkabout; the place where Klaas Voogds, James Bond and Albert Einstein meet. And ..........: everything you always wanted to know about sex …… between plants but never dared to ask. Take the chance….. and earn a reward

Try the soup and the apple pie of Yvonne. Or ask Gunther for a special lovers-picnic.

Take your time and relax while fulfilling a quest in the largest hedge-maze in the world; strolling in the Philosophers Garden; wandering through the unique collection of succulents, conquering the 'shortest hiking trail in the Western Cape' or just enjoying the magnificent view.

Go back to the roots and see the traditional way of wine-making at Rusticus; just a few hundred metres from Soekershof.

Start the evening with a glass of Graham Beck Brut Rosé,

Both, GuBas De Hoek and Soekershof Walkabout, can advise you the right cellars according to your individual preferences. We advise guests not to visit more than 2 wine cellars per day.
