Roy Reycraft is master craftsman (“Craftmanship = Reycraftship”) and became known for his sundials. Before that he was an explosives-expert but experienced that creating beautiful sculptures is far more satisfying than demolishing nature.
For Soekershof Roy creates the brass labyrinth keyrings and the SOEKERSHOF SPRAYERS. |

Messina Mussindo (“you may call me Joey”) is a great wire-artist; better known abroad than within South Africa . His work can be found in galleries, private collections and musea within Europe, America , Far East and Africa . Joey has his own small workshop (with display) in the Visitors Center and the large monumental objects are created in the barn opposite. The wire-baobab tree at the entrance made him famous. Joey wants to go into history as ‘The one-wire Artist'. Several of his objects are made out of one single piece of wire. |
| In a joint venture with wire-artist Joey Soekershof Walkabout developed a 'Solar Umbrella'. After a test period of three years new improved models (bird and butterfly) were launched in 2007 and are exclusively for sale (R 300.00 each) at Soekershof Walkabout. Buyers are invited to paint the fabrics themselves for the personal signature. No two umbrellas are thus the same. |
